Hi! Happy Friday.
One thing our site has a lot of are options. There's hundreds of stories on here ranging from Greek Mythology to ABC books to Shakespeare. Too many choices can be overwhelming. I know whenever I get to the ice cream aisle in the grocery store I have trouble making up my mind.
So how do you pick a good story to read? Here are some suggestions:
-
Go to our library, close your eyes, and click on a book!
-
Think about what kind of story you're interested in and use the search tool to find stories with similar keywords.
-
Start from the first book in the library and read that one! Keep going until there's none left.
-
Ask a friend! Reach us on our Facebook page and we'll make a recommendation for you!
-
Check out our staff picks section! We love to highlight our favorite latest reads.
-
Choose something with an interesting title or cover.. Who says you can't judge a book that way?
At the end of the day, even if you didn't really like the book, you've still accomplished something really cool. Reading a story or sharing one with a friend is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Not only will you learn something but you'll also get a chance to be transported into a whole new world. Whenever I read a book I find myself carrying what I've learned around for the rest of my life.
Thank you for reading and have a great Memorial Day weekend!
Karl
